How can we help you?

  • Construction hours for MRT3 will be determined by local authorities’ approval.
  • Some works may extend beyond 7 p.m., particularly those emitting less noise.
  • Night work is necessary for public safety, especially for high-risk activities such as lifting Segmental Box Girders, which are conducted during non-peak traffic hours.
  • A Pre-Construction Condition Survey and building impact assessment will be conducted for relevant buildings before construction begins.
  • Building owners will be notified prior to any works, including any necessary protective measures for the buildings.
  • The construction method used will minimize disturbances to structures on the ground.
  • Detailed Instrumentation and Monitoring (I&M) will be performed during tunnelling to monitor any movement in structures, buildings, and roads.
  • A dedicated team will monitor the ground where underground construction works are taking place to observe and report any related movements for prompt action.
  • Utilities mapping and piloting will be conducted before actual construction begins.
  • Contractors will be updated with the latest utilities mapping to plan construction activities and relocate utilities if necessary, minimizing disruptions.
  • The public will be informed in advance of any possible or planned utility disruptions.
  • Notifications will be issued at least five days before any construction work that might disrupt utility systems.
  • Before construction begins, an independent surveyor will conduct a pre-construction condition survey for buildings within the construction influence zone.
  • This survey, with the building owner’s approval, includes internal and external inspections of the building’s existing conditions.
  • This survey will serve as a reference for any future repair requests related to damages caused during the construction period.
  • The construction for MRT3 is expected to kick off by 2026 and to be completed by 2032.
  • The MRT3 project is a national interest public project for the benefit of the people and for the future growth of the country.
  • The acquisition under LAA 1960 is a mandatory acquisition where the government will compensate affected landowners and take possession of the land.
  • You can address your concerns to the government during the Public Inspection, which is planned to take place in Q3 2024.
